Our forge

The forge was built in 1848 and had a predecessor on the same site.
The forge that can be visited at Växbo Kvarn today originally comes from Lilltjära, outside Kilafors.

It is in very good condition, with the original equipment still intact and in use.
 

During the summer of 2026, our forge is staffed from June 29 to August 2,
Tuesday through Sunday, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
