Växbo Mill is waiting for you!
Växbo Kvarn is beautifully situated in the small village of Växbo, a short drive from Bollnäs in Hälsingland. Situated in a valley, surrounded by lush forests and rippling streams, we are a perfect destination for a day trip or a longer stay. It is easy to find and parking is available on site.
Directions
Address: Växbo Kvarn 2924, 821 95 Bollnäs.
From Bollnäs: Drive road 50 towards Söderhamn. After Renbron, turn left at the sign for Växbo. Then follow the signs for Växbo Kvarn. The drive takes about 15 minutes.
From Hudiksvall: Drive E4 south and exit at Söderhamn and take national road 50 towards Bollnäs. Exit at Glössbo and follow the signs to Växbo and Växbo Kvarn. The drive takes about 1 hour.
From Stockholm: Drive E4 north towards Söderhamn, exit at Tönnebro and take national road 83 towards Bollnäs. Follow the signs towards Växbo. The drive takes about 3 hours.
Train and bus: There are regular trains and buses to Bollnäs from larger cities such as Gävle and Stockholm. However, local traffic from Bollnäs to the village of Växbo is very limited and our recommendation is to get here on your own.

Växbo Kvarn is seasonally open and closed for the 2025 season, we will reopen in 2026. Opening hours
varies depending on the season. They can also be affected by events and activities in the area. Latest updates can be found here on the website and on Instagram and Facebook - @vaxbokvarn .

Bookable seating times: 6, 6.30pm or 7pm.
28/11 - 21/12
Wednesday - Friday
Bookable seating times: 6, 6.30pm or 7pm.
Saturdays
Bookable seating times: 12, 12.30 or 1pm
and at 6, 6.30 or 7 pm.
Sundays
Bookable seating times: 1, 1.30pm or 2pm.
Guided tours and event calendar
Times for seasonal guided tours and activities/events vary. See our events calendar for more information and booking.
We also accept group bookings for conferences, various activities, guided tours of the area, etc., and are happy to create a unique package just for you and your group's needs.
